In partnership with Pob Studio, we have written an open letter to the community to help save KnownOrigin NFTs. We are trying to get the word out about our proposal because we need the community's support to make it happen. Any amplification would be appreciated!

Case Study: Preserving NFTs on the XRP Ledger

The XRP Ledger (XRPL) is known for its fast, low-cost transactions—perfect for NFTs. However, a key challenge remains: preserving Content Identifiers (CIDs). Without proper storage, CIDs on IPFS can be lost, causing NFT metadata like images and descriptions to disappear.

One community member tackled this by using NFT.Storage to back up their NFTs on the Filecoin network, aiming to ensurelong-term access to their digital assets. By securing CIDs with decentralized storage, they’ve safeguarded their NFTs from vanishing over time.

On-Chain Endowment Update

Our on-chain endowment continues to support long-term NFT data storage as it will automate payments to storage providers using the Filecoin Ethereum Virtual Machine (FEVM). This month, the endowment now supports 204 GB of NFT data, with an endowment balance of over 52 FIL. Learn more about our endowment here.

Artists, Back Up Your NFT Collections

Don’t forget to back up your new and existing collections with the new product. We’ve made it affordable for everyone with a one-time fee of $2.99 and designed the process to be super easy to use. If you’d prefer to have us do it for you, reply to this email and I can share more about our Concierge Service.
