Product Enhancements and Updates
Solana Support
We’re excited to announce that our flagship product, NFT.Storage, now supports NFTs minted on Solana! Solana creators and minting platforms can now easily back up their Solana NFTs using NFT.Storage for a low one-time fee of $2.99/GB. We’re thrilled to welcome the Solana community to our platform, aiming to ensure their digital assets remain secure and accessible.

Introducing Our On-Chain Endowment
As part of our commitment to the long-term preservation of NFT data, we’re launching the NFT.Storage on-chain endowment. Built on the Filecoin Ethereum Virtual Machine (FEVM), this endowment will automate payments to storage providers, enhancing the sustainability and reliability of NFT.Storage through programmatic management and decentralized operations. When you pay for long-term storage, a portion of the fee goes to this endowment, aiming to ensure your data remains safe and accessible for the future.

Backing up NFT Data at Scale
Powered by Lighthouse.Storage’s open-source technology, our flagship product is designed to back up large mints and ongoing mints, accommodating many customers simultaneously. This scalability has been proven with Lighthouse's existing customer base, allowing us to support the growing NFT ecosystem effectively.
New Feature - Token Status Check
We’ve added a new feature to our flagship product that allows users to check the status of their backed up NFT data. This enhancement provides greater transparency and usability for those who are backing up NFT data through the API.

NFT Token Checker Feedback
We Need Your Input! We’re developing a new tool, the NFT Token Checker, to bring greater transparency and trust to the NFT space. This tool will allow block explorers, wallets, and marketplaces to display which NFTs are backed up with NFT.Storage, indicating that their data is securely stored in long-term decentralized storage.
